DolliRoots was born in 2023 on Etsy as a simple hobby, but it quickly grew into something much deeper. From a young age, I was drawn to art, storytelling, and design, finding ways to bring life into everything I created. Anime, video games, music, and fine art have all shaped the way I see and make art, and those influences continue to guide my work today.

I started drawing early, but eventually I wanted more than what could live on a page—I wanted my creations to exist in the real world. That desire led me to doll customization. Though I had admired the craft for years, I began creating seriously in 2025, dedicating a full year to researching, learning, and practicing every single day to honor the art properly.

At the same time, I was navigating through college. However, Traditional schooling never felt fulfilling to me. I often felt confined by restrictions, where creativity had to fit neatly inside a box. After two years, I chose to trust my intuition, step away, and pour my energy into building this space instead.

​

What you see here is more than dolls. It is my creative path, my livelihood, and a deeply personal extension of who I am. Every piece is handmade by me with love, intention, and care.
